This site has been created to provide the public with information regarding the programs that the CDA administers on behalf of the Town of Islip, and to assist the public in obtaining services for which they may be eligible.



Public Notice: The Town of Islip CDA’s second Public Hearing will held March 28, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Islip Town Hall, 655 Main Street, Islip. The Town of Islip CDA has completed the draft of the Annual Action Plan for 2023. There is a 30-day comment period through April 26, 2023. Hard copies of the draft 2023 annual plan is available at the CDA office.


Public Notice: CDA Board of Directors Meeting to be held on April 13, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at 111 West Main Street, Bay Shore.


Public Notice: The Town of Islip has completed its draft of its Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for its four HUD funded entitlement grants, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership, Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Housing Opportunity for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), for the fiscal year July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.


Public Notice: The Town of Islip CDA has completed the HOME ARP Plan. This Plan is part of the 2021 Annual Action Plan.

Town of Islip Community Development Agency Documents

(2) to eliminate blighted and deteriorated conditions in the Town’s neighborhoods and commercial districts.
